The main direction of the Laboratory’s research is aimed at studying the physico-chemical properties of metals and their bodies, local mineral raw materials and other materials. In addition, the laboratory conducts structural, inspection, experimental and production activities related to the preparation of equipment, devices, products and materials for the needs of the population, based on ferrous, non-ferrous metals and their products.
The laboratory is developing innovative technologies for the production of new materials, products and equipment.
The Materials Science Laboratory continues scientific research on the project “ Processing of the composition and method of obtaining alloys with the participation of heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Sn) and light metals (Al, Mg, Ti, Li, Be) for mechanical engineering and energy” (2021-2025). Scientific articles were published abroad and in the republic as part of the project.

The Materials Science Laboratory works and functions according to a pre-authorized project, as a result of which 5 monographs, 2 workbooks, 40 scientific articles, 70 conference materials were published. He also obtained the first 7 patents of the Republic of Tajikistan.
